Use of Health Data from the USA
If you are using Fogo to process health-related data originating in the United States, please be advised:
- Fogo is not HIPAA-compliant.
- You are required to ensure your own compliance with relevant federal, state, and local data protection laws.
- You must obtain all necessary consents from relevant regulatory authorities and affected individuals before using the platform.
- If there is any doubt about legal or regulatory compliance, you must refrain from using the platform.

- Register a domain in your own country of operation.
- Purchase an Amazon server located within your own country or jurisdiction.Fogo can only be installed in an Amazon server.
- Install the Fogo system on your private server, thereby establishing it as your proprietary system.
- Register your deployment with the relevant regulatory authorities in your jurisdiction.
Costs and Support
- Estimated Annual Cost: Operating Fogo on your own Amazon server typically incurs an estimated maintenance cost of approximately USD $5,000 (or local equivalent) annually.
- Feature Updates: All system-wide feature updates developed by Fogo will be made available to self-hosted users at no additional cost.
- Technical Support: Fogo offers ongoing technical support on a fee-for-service basis at a standard rate of USD $60 per hour.
